ADR Training

Environ runs courses to prepare trainees for the SQA ADR Vocational Training Certificate Examinations. These are held monthly at its Lancashire training centre and all year round nationally on-site at customer premises.

The ADR is required by those drivers who transport regulated dangerous goods loads on the public roads. The ADR certificate is valid for five years and can be retained for another five years by attending a refresher course and passing the subsequent examinations.

Specialist runs courses suitable for all ADR drivers, including those requiring Packages or Tanks modules, all substance modules and the specialised courses for drivers who will carry Class 1 (Explosives) and Class 7 (Radioactives) consignments. For those companies that require specific modules only, bespoke courses can be arranged. ADR courses can be run during the week or at weekends, depending on customer requirements.

Up to 28 hours of Driver CPC training can be obtained on Specialist’s ADR course depending on the modules taken. Please indicate if you would like the training to count towards Driver CPC at the booking stage.
